Can You See Clearly?

The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.” Mark 8:24 NLT

When Yeshua does anything, He does a complete work. He never does anything half way. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns – Philippians 1:6 NLT.
It is the desire of Yeshua that men walk in the light and not in darkness. To be blind means there is a limitation. One who is blind cannot see where they are going. This is very dangerous as it means they can stumble and fall. Being blind also means, you are dependent on others to move you around. This too is risky as the person leading you may lead down the wrong path. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch – Matthew 15:14 NLT
Some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged Him to touch the man and heal him. For whatever reason, Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Sometimes Jesus would separate Himself from the crowd and perform a miracle. This could be because of the people’s unbelief and also because He did not want to draw attention to Himself.
Jesus spat on the man’s eyes, laid His hands on the man, and asked him, ‘can you see anything now?’ The man replied, ‘yes, I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around’. His sight was not fully restored. He saw but not clearly. He was still unable to perceive or discern what he was seeing. Sometimes, we are not able to see or discern everything at once. We need to return again and again and Yeshua will continuously reveal more to us.
Therefore, Yeshua touched his eyes a second time. This time his sight was completely restored and he could see everything clearly. Yeshua wants our spiritual eyes, even more than our natural eyes to be opened. We must be able to see as He sees, from heaven’s perspective. Yeshua don’t want us to be blind, confused or deceived, but to have a clear understanding of who He is and the Kingdom of God.
I once was lost but now I’m found, was blind but now I see. Are you seeing clearly? If not, go back to Yeshua and He will open your eyes to see, to discern.
