Timeless Tabernacle

The Eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you. – Deuteronomy 33:27 NLT

The Eternal God and the omniscient Creator of humanity graciously unveiled Himself to mankind, and Moses discovered Him to be a refuge and a dwelling place. He discovered Him to be a Place of protection in the storms of life, and a Source of comfort in the trials that surrounded the children of Israel in their pilgrimage through their wilderness walk. And in the midst of the enemies that surrounded them, Moses found that underneath are God's arms, to uphold. to support, to embrace, and to save.

Moses found Him to be gentle to His people, while His mighty power and everlasting strength saved them from their enemies who sought their destruction. The pillar of cloud and fire, among which was such a comfort and Source of protection for the Israelites, gave confusion to their enemies. God parted the Red Sea to save the Israelites but used the same waves to crash down on their enemies, causing utter destruction.

The eternal God similarly unveils Himself to His people today, through His Word and by His Spirit. We too discover Him to be a Source of refuge and a dwelling place of safety. We too find Him to be our protection in the midst of a crooked generation that seeks to harm us, And we too discover that the eternal God is indeed our refuge and strength, for underneath are His everlasting arms of support, strength, and protection.

God is our refuge and strength in the midst of all the storms of our lives. He will uphold us with His righteous right hand, and may we find rest for our soul in His timeless tabernacle.
